Doctor of Medical Sciences
David Malidze successfully graduated from the Medical Faculty of Tbilisi State Medical University in 1985 and was awarded a Doctor of Medicine degree in 2007.
David Malidze worked at the Marine Hospital of Georgia and Scientific Research Institute of Cardiology in Ukraine. From 1992-1997, he held a position of the Medical Manager of Marco Polo Company in Austria. Since 2011, he has been a cardiologist for the DKC Medical center, from 2012 - Doctor of Intensive Cardiology in Cardiovascular Department of New Hospital, from the same year - Doctor of Interventional Cardiology at Chiron Medical Center. Since 2014 he has been a cardiologist at the Cancer Center, since 2010, he has been an ACLS instructor at Georgia College of Emergency Physicians (GCEP). Today, he performs educational activities at the Faculty of Medicine of European University.
Davit Malidze has been a member of Georgian Cardiology Society (GCS) since 2014, European Society of Cardiology (ESC) since 2004, European Association of Percutaneous Cardiovascular Intervention (EAPCI) since 2007, and Georgia College of Emergency Physicians (GCEP) since 2009. He has attended various local and international trainings, including: The European Board for Accreditation in Cardiology – “Core Curriculum Course on Cardiac Arrhythmias “, internship in the Department of Cardiac Surgery of Hamburg University Clinic, and others.
