Doctor in Biology
Irma Jikia was awarded an Academic Degree in Biology by Tbilisi State University in 2002.
From 1998-2004, she worked at the Center for Audiology and Hearing Rehabilitation, in 2003-2004 – in the Salvatore Krankenhaus Clinical Pathology Department in Halberstadt, Germany, and in 2004-2005 - Clinic Medula.
In 2004-2006, she worked at Vekua Sokhumi University and in 2014-2017, at the Medical University, Hippocrates. Currently she is a chief scientist of Clinical Pathology Scientific Practical Center. In addition, she holds the position of the Director of Tbilisi Clinical Pathology Scientific Practical Center. She carries out educational activities at European University. She is an author of numerous scientific works and participant of the scientific conference.
Irma Jikia manages the DAAD Exchange Program of Tbilisi State University and Magdeburg University Clinic. Since 2010 she has been a member of ESMO.
