Doctor of Biochemistry
Natia Jojua graduated from Tbilisi State University with honors in 2005 and earned master's degree in Biology at the same University in 2007; she was awarded with a Doctor of Biochemistry at the Natural Sciences and Engineering Faculty at Ilia State University in 2015.
In 2007-2011, she worked as a Laboratory assistant of the Department of Biochemistry at Tbilisi State Medical University; Trainer in the EU Tempus project - Project Actors Capacity Training in Caucasus, (PACT) in 2014-2015. From 2008 she has been invited as a teacher at the Department of Biochemistry at Tbilisi State Medical University; She has joined the European University Team from 2015 and is currently leading the course on medical biology and biochemistry on the English language program of the Faculty of Medicine.
Over the years, Natia Jojua attended in local and international conferences and workshops including: Joint workhop of the British Biochemical Society and the Federation of European Biochemistry Societies (FEBS) - "Innovations in molecular bioscience education", the workshop of the Federation of European Biochemical Societies - "Molecular Life Science Education '', Georgian Biochemists Association I Conference and etc. She has won numerous grants and Scholarships: A travel grant of the Federation of European Biochemists Societies (FEBS) for Young Scientists; one Year Grant of the World Federation of Science (Geneva, Switzerland), a travel grant for the European Biochemistry Societies Federation (FEBS) for Young Scientists and etc. From 2012, she has been a member of the Federation of European Biochemists Societies (FEBS); from 2013 a member of the Federation of European Neuroscientists Societies (FENS). She is an author of scientific publications.
