Doctor of Medicine
Marine Nikolaishvili successfully graduated from Tbilisi State University in 1976 in the direction of biochemistry and radio-biology; in 1998 she was awarded the Doctor of Science in the same university.
In 1973-1991 she worked at the Institute of Physiology first at the Animal Behavior Laboratory and later at the Laboratory of Biochemistry. In 1992-2010, she worked at the radiation biochemistry laboratory at the Scientific-Research Center for Radiobiology and Radiation Ecology, and later took the position of the Neurobiology Laboratory Head. In 2010, she was the chief scientific worker of the Radiobiology Laboratory of Life Science Studies Center. From 2011 to present - chief scientific worker of Iv. Beritashvili Experimental Biomedicine Center, and since 2016 she has been the head of the Radiobiology Laboratory Department of the same center.
Since 2001 she has been lecturing in different higher educational institutions.
