Doctor of Life Sciences
Nino Sharikadze is a successful graduate of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, Faculty of Biology Bachelor program of 2010, in 2013 she completed Life Sciences Graduate Program of Ilia State University (Master in Biopharmacy). In 2015-2016 she was studying at the Biochemistry and cellular genetics lab of the University of Bordeaux (France) within Erasmus Mundus exchange program. In 2018 she was awarded the academic degree of Doctor of Life Sciences in Ilia State University.
Over the years she worked at Tbilisi Botanic Institute, in Turmanidze LLC (Medical Representative), Bio-Rad Georgia (Official Representative in Georgia). During the 2017-2018 she was a Coordinator of NUCLEUS and RRI (Responsible Research and Innovation) Project within the framework of Horizon grant 2020.
She has been lecturing since 2013. At present, she is leading the training courses in General Biochemistry, Medical Biochemistry and Basics of Scientific-Research skills at European University.
She has gained various grants and scholarships, including: Neuroscience Summer School participant and scholar (Neuroscience School of Advanced Studies) (Siena, Italy, 2012); One year scholarship awarded by the World Federation of Scientists for her Bachelor Thesis (Geneva, Switzerland, 2010).
She has participated in various scientific conferences and workshops, including: Participant with poster of the International Conference organized by the Federation of European Biochemistry Societies (FEBS), (Prague, Czech Republic, 2018); NUCLEUS's Annual Conference, within the Horizon 2020 project, Facing the Challenge: Obstacles and Opportunities of RRI in Scientific Institutions (Hanover, Germany, 2017);
Nino Sharikadze is a member of Federation of European Biochemists Societies and Federation of European Neuroscience Society. She is the author of many scientific articles.
